2nd October 2018
With the slow summer days cooling down and sliding into Autumn, we will wander my garden and see how the season is progressing whilst seeking out hidden treasures. The dahlias will be at their best alongside the second flush of garden roses, while other little gems such as chocolate cosmos, rudbeckia and gaura will be quietly flowering as the leaves gently begin to change colour. We will discuss the many things that you can use for arrangements that are often overlooked and my flower choice philosophy. I will then demonstrate a large urn arrangement using branches and Autumn flowers from the best that is available at this time of year plus a few extra special bits that we may gather from the garden. It will be a no foam arrangement. This will be followed by a lovely two course light lunch. Then it will be your turn to create your own beautiful autumnal urn arrangement under my guidance that you will be able to take home. All your work will be photographed for your own use later.
