The word Instagram is a portmanteau of instant camera and telegram

A seemingly strange and complicated world, Instagram and how to get yourself noticed there can seem utterly bewildering. A place manipulated by an unknown, ever changing algorithm, strange hashtags and an ability to cause hours of your life to evaporate, it can be a love it or loathe it necessity for today’s creatives, bloggers and small business owners.
But help is at hand!
Paula from Hill House Vintage, an Instagram star with nearly 60 thousand followers, will be joining Julie and I on this day long class. We aim to demystify the art of Instagram, guiding you through ways to improve your Feed, your Stories and how to engage your audience and so increase your following. The morning will begin with Paula sharing her vast Instagram knowledge and top tips to help you make the most of your Instagram experience. This will be followed by some hands on practical advice on styling and photography by Brigitte and Julie. and because the class will take place in Brigitte’s beautiful home and garden, you will have access to an array of props, flowers, rooms and settings to encourage your creative juices. After a delicious light lunch, where we can continue to discuss Instagram strategies, we will move on to Stories and how to engage with your target audience using this relatively new feature. At the end of the day you will leave with some new ideas for Instagrammable images, a fully prepared story to share on your Instagram stories and a notebook full of ideas to help develop your account.
This class is suitable for anyone interested in developing and growing their Instagram account but will be of particular interest to anyone using interiors, homes, gardens and flowers on their feed.

I love to share my passion for flowers - how to grow them, ideas on styling and lots of flowery photographs on my blog and Instagram. Mixed in with all the flowers you will also find posts about my country family life in England gardening, growing vegetables, recipes, keeping chickens as well as a few guest appearances from my many pets.
Hill House Vintage
I am an interiors obsessed mother of 3 who thought it would be a great idea to bring her children up in the countryside. I'm a sucker for a 'shabby chic' interior, adore finding bargains on e-bay and an avid hunter at local flea markets and antique fairs. My blog and Instagram are about interior decoration to suit all budgets, vintage finds, traditional British design and country house inspiration...
Moss & Stone Floral Design
I just simply love flowers - designing with them, growing them and enjoying them cultivated and wild in the garden and the hedgerow. I provide seasonal flowers for weddings and events throughout Suffolk, East Anglia and beyond and I love sharing my knowledge and passion when teaching my flower workshops. I also really enjoy collaborations, styled shoots and editorial work.
